Hello Tonny, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Where did you get your copy of Windows 7?

Is your Windows 7 activated and shown as genuine?

Open up Widows Explorer then click the system properties link. You should see an activated version of 7 with a key.

Try Control Panel>System, then scroll down. What does Activation say?

    Where did you get Win7?

Rightclick Desktop, select Personalize, then choose Win7 Aero Theme, click Desktop Background to choose your background or several for a slide show, Save.

That is the reason. It is an expired beta version of Win7.

You'll need to buy a copy, or install the 90-day free Enterprise trial from MS website.

If you know someone with Windows 7 media, you can install it without a key and you will have a 30 day trial. You can then legally rearm the 30 day trial 3 more times which will give you 120 days of Windows 7 for free. After that you will have to buy it. When you do rearm the trial, make sure you wait until the very end of the trial or you lose the days left in that trial period. You can find the rearm command below.

Have you noticed that your PC shuts down randomly too?
