Right Click mystery,
When I right click on a folder or file I see "removerproperties" as one of the options. What does this mean and what does it do?

I see what you mean. That is not a standard item, so it must have come from a 3rd party explorer enhancement/extension/replacement or some other program.
Shell Menu View is a nice utility to change the context menu, you should have no problem removing the entry
