    Administrator Problems

Alright, so I have like 4 admin accounts, and i want to return one of them to LUA, but i always get the message: "Error: user is already a member of this group." I have tried the control panel and "run-control userpasswords2" but i get the same message. Also, On a LUA I have, when It requires admin password conformation, it says "type password" or whatever, but the password box is gone. I want to do everything to not to delete the account. Any help?

Hello darkprism, welcome to Seven Forums!

The first, easiest thing to try and sort things is to run the Windows file checker, have a look at the tutorial at the link below, if it comes back with errors run it again until it comes clean.
Be sure to post back to keep us informed.

    Hello again.

You don't have any of those 'admin' accounts named "Administrator" do you?

That's the issue, the info in the tutorial in the link below may be the only way to sort it; and re-name those/that account first, there can only be one account with that name and Windows reserves that name for its use.

Do you know anyone with a disk of the exact same version as you're running that will let you borrow it?

Can you re-name that "Admin ... " account and create another account and move the data/files you want to keep into the new account to see if that's a help?
