My Computer... There is nothing in it!

Hi, I'm using a Toshiba L350D-03N Laptop computer (2.0GB RAM, 1.86GHz Pentium Dual Core, Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Graphics) and now when I open "My Computer", nothing shows up, the loading bar in the address shows loading progress, but after it's done, nothing else happens. I will enclose a screenshot of it. If it has any relation to the icons not showing up on my pictures, here is a link to my other post.

Hi, judging by your other thread about icons and this one, I'd guess you did an upgrade install?

Yes, I did in fact. Please don't tell me I need to do a reinstall. Pleeeease tell me there is a fix for this, lol.

UPDATE: I already wrote out what happened and then the post didn't save. Windows 7 test update and microsoft speechredist installed and somehow my problem is gone. Will post again if it comes back.

UPDATE 2: Okay, picture problem is back again.

From what I can tell, most of the issued being caused by upgrades are file security issues, and that could've been the case here too.

I'd strongly recommend you do a clean install regardless, as there's no telling what other problems are laying in wait for you.

You just have to log out then back in again, it usually solves the problem.
