    plzz help boot problem....


    hiii guys i have a very common prob n very easy to solve but i dont knw how to solve it..plzzz...help....

    at 1st i have installed xp n then 7.....then i hav some prob in xp so dat i need to farmat it again.....
    i hope noe u experts can understand my common problem...
    xp has became the default os which boots.... in order to get back d 7's bootloader
    i hav even even run a repair but now d opposite thing has gone
    now only the 7 is get booted but not the xp...
    plzz anyone help me telling any way to get rid os this...nt using any external soft is preferable...
    i wanna hav both the os 2 choose in my boot menu...

    Hello multibot.





    You need to use the app at the link below to add a boot entry to Windows 7, do it from within W_7 and you should be good to go.

    thanx BFK n it worked....but i wanna ask two more questions...
    1)my boot menu shows like this....
    WINDOWS 7(recovered)
    earlier version of windows

    so does it have any prob in future ever????


    2)if i uninstall this app now then does my boot menu will again also change????

    n i wanna also knw the mannual way..it doesont matters however tough it may be....

    You can remove EasyBCD and that will cause no problems; I'm glad you got it booting again.
    Have a look at these tutorials at the links below, there are some answers for you; be sure if you have further questions to use this same thread so we'll know who you are.
