    Show Path

I am trying to show the path for files and folders. I did a search and found this procedure:

In Folder Options on the View Tab I set as the below Image shows.

    Show Path-folderoptions.jpg

but now I have to get folders into the Classic view to actually show the path.

To change folders to Classic view

1.Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.

2.Click the General tab, and then, under Tasks, click Use Windows classic folders, and then click OK.

    Show Path-folderoptions2.jpg

On the General tab I do NOT see anything call "Tasks".

So how can I set folders to "Classic view".

    Thanks

I'll look into this more for you tonight to see what I can find. For now, you can also left click on a empty space in the address bar to see the full path.

It appears that this Folder Option only affects the full path displaying on the taskbar buttons when you have the taskbar set to show buttons instead of icons while using the Windows Classic theme now in Windows 7.

You can still have the path even if you don't use the classic theme in 7 by clicking the small dark arrow:

If you read the option in question you would see it is for the title bar.
Always showing the raw path in the address bar is currently not possible unless you click on the address bar.

Thanks to everyone for the responses, especially Pusspa and NoN. Those are easy and both work. Thanks again.
