My Aero features are disabled! Help!

    And, for the record, the sfc /scannow thing ended up telling me I had a whole list of problems (I think 77).

    That's another good reason to do a repair install, that's quite a few.

    Yeah, sorry I kind of left that thread hanging and it was not as long ago as I'd thought. Heads going.
    Anyway, turns out that whilst my snap still doesn't work my shake and the keyboard shortcut snap do.
    From reading that previous thread it seems they didn't then so the repair install did do something.
    It's weird though.
