    Sp1 integration


    I have windows 7 disc..After SP1 is released is it possible to integrate it into the dvd?

    Yes, you can slipstream any Service Pack into your OS, but I would wait until the final version is released..

    Honestly, I think I'd rather try and buy the media from Microsoft, or get it from a mom and pop shop than try to go through the slipstream procedure. It isn't nearly as simple as the process for XP.

    I will try to integrate sp1 beta to the os ..please can any one tell me the procedure..I googled it,is only for xp...

    Don't waste your time with the beta...wait for the final code. This may sound like I'm being rude...but if you can't find the steps by Googling, you most certainly aren't going to like the actual procedure.

    Here are the steps for Vista, so it would likely be similar for Windows 7. There's a lot more involved than XP, so if it was me, I'd just get my hands on the new media with SP1 integrated already.
