it's my one and only OS. i held on to XP on another partition until RC1, then i got over my attachment and filled the partition with something more useful - HD rips of my favorite movies

At the moment as main OS. This is so I can prepare for my transition to the full version once it gets out and I get a new PC. (coming from XP)
i dual boot with vista ultimate but have only booted up 7100 since installing it
I'm using Windows 7 as main OS in all the PCs I use. My PC at work, used for tech service purposes, is using build 7057 x86, my notebook Acer Aspire 4520 was using 7057 x86 too but now I'm using 7100 that have upgraded via clean install a few days ago. And my Core2Quad is using 7048 x64, but I'll install 7127 x64 soon, because 7048 have too many bugs for the what I use it.
Also, I'm installing Windows 7 on PCs of my family and friends, also to SOME special clients at work. :)
Windows 7 rulz. Efficient, fast, compatible (too much compatible even when it was on beta phase), comfortable, cute, etc.
I mean, I loved Vista when it came out but, it was a memory hog and needs too much tweaking to make it working good and smooth. Windows 7 needs 10% of the tweaking that Vista needs and even without tweaking is working great. Also with less bugs than Vista.
I recommend to all the people that is using Windows Vista and is not sure to move to Windows 7, to do it. Is better in all the posible ways and, at the moment, free to try.
Dual Booting Win 7 64 with Vista 64. At first, I was using both. But at the present time, I'm almost exclusively using 7.
Oh, I went through a bunch of the early ones including all the x64 leaked builds after 7000 on my main desktop. I basically just done upgrades after 7000 until I reached 7100 and I'm now continuing this method again starting with 7127.
6519 x64 (Dual Boot with Vista x64)
6801 x64 (Clean install)
6936 x64 (Clean install)
7000 x64 (Clean install)
7022 x64 (Upgrade)
7048 x64 (Upgrade)
7057 x64 (Upgrade)
7068 x64 (Upgrade)
7077 x64 (Upgrade)
7100 x64 (Clean install)
7127 x64 (Upgrade)
Overall the upgrade process in Windows 7 is pretty good and vastly improved over Vista, I've not ran into any major issues yet.
Yes that's me! :) lol
Main OS on my laptop for the past five months. x64 for the last three of those five. Currently on Build 7127.
Its my main and only OS on my HP DV7z (was Vista Ultimate SP1)
Im using build 7100 for everything web, office work, gaming, programing.
My next step is to up grade to 7127, and to try some video editing on it since I've been holding back and still using my older laptop for that.
7127 x64 as main OS, (with Vista x64 dual boot in reserve (but I doubt I will ever boot into Vista again).
