    Right Click Disabled?

My netbook, running windows 7 starter, no longer allows me to right click. Not in programs, not in folders, not on the desktop. I was using a USB mouse (which I tested on another mechine, the right click works fine there, so its not the mouse). After this problem started I tried a second usb mouse and the right-click on the built-in touch pad mouse. None of them worked. I have tried rebooting, I tried updating the drivers on my USB mouse. I havn't tried a system restor, hoping someone might know a fix that avoids that route.

Why are you so hesitant about doing a system restore? It doesn't change a whole lot.

Have you always had this problem? If not, when did it start?

    Try this
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

But system restore is the way to go

Read here: Context Menu - Enable or Disable - Vista ForumsIt's for Vista but should also apply to Windows 7.
