How to move taskbar sub-items in windows 7?

    How to move taskbar sub-items in windows 7?




    Is it possible to move/drag those penguins to the left on windows 7?

    Tried a couple of things and I couldn't change it. It puts the last opened window on the far right. I guess you could open the one you wanted on the left, first.

    Not possible, sorry. Within a particular application, be it Paint, Notepad, etc, the taskbar thumbnails appear from left to right in the order that they are opened. The exception to this rule is IE8 because, although the above holds true, you can rearrange the order on the tab bar. The taskbar thumbnails for IE8 will then reflect the order of the tabs.

    So it is not possible at all. Would have been really helpful if it was possible.

    Well, it is possible just not in that sense. You just have to open that one you want on the left first.
