    Windows 7 or Lucid Lynx


    hi a few months ago i bought a new laptop msi gt725 and separate windows 7.

    for the last one year i tested linux esp karmic and lucid lynx and i really like it esp compiz 3d desktop and many many other things that windows doesn't have.

    i would like to know if its possible to return my windows 7 dvd back to Microsoft and get my money back ? i paid for it about 150£.

    As long as the software isn't opened and the seals aren't broken and you are within the stores refund period..you could probably still return it. But if it's been awhile, it's probably not going to work.

    What if you keep Win 7 and dual boot with Linux (I use Ubuntu - Lucid Lynx is latest version), or run Linux as a virtual PC? Just a suggestion in case you can't return it.
