Hello seife96, welcome to Seven Forums.

Can you connect both drives and use the "Move To" part of this to move the data to the new drive, is that what you're asking; be sure to post back to keep us informed.

Context Menu - Add Copy To Folder and Move To Folder

I think I understand. I think you want to copy your operating system to a new drive. Is this correct? If so, you can't do it. You could create an image of your drive and image the new drive (if it's big enough). Is this what you're asking?

Can you use the BIOS boot menu to boot into that old system? What operating system is it, XP?

If you want to copy the data off your old partition to the new one, then use explorer to copy and paste, or move.

If you want to copy the entire OS partition from the OD HD to the new one, then use free Macrium Reflect to create an image of the old OS and copy it into unallocated space on the new HD next to Win7 partition.

Then install EasyBCD 2.0 to Win7 to Add the old OS to a Dual Boot menu by Type of OS, Name and drive letter.

It would probably be best to leave your old OS on the old HD, copy the data over to the new one, and boot the old OS via BIOS one-time Boot Menu whenever you need to go into the old OS. That makes it easier to remove when you are ready to remove it, as it can come and go whenever you please.
