The "new" context menu is normal on the right click menu.

I don't know why its not in your first screenshot. It should be there by default, but I am not sure.

"New" allows you to create a new document of any of the types that are listed.

You can change what shows up in the context menu: New Context Menu - Remove & Restore Default Menu Items

    or

New Context Menu Item - Restore or Remove - Vista Forums

Are you trying to say that the new option on the menu is gone??? I am not sure what your saying...

Given us a little more info like when your problem started, the specs of your computer (or type) so we can better help you...

You can only see this New context menu when you right click on a empty space on the desktop or on a empty space in a Windows Explorer window.

this is why your screenshot on left does not have "New" and one on right has "New"

It looks like HOGRNAHRO has both, he just didn't know why it was different.

I am not completely sure, just giving information as I can.

It is obvious that he DID click in the empty space on his desktop. That is the only way he would see the "Personalize", "Screen Resolution" and "Gadgets" options.

See if this doesn't fix it for you:
