start up programs

    start up programs


    so when my computer starts up all these programs that i dont want start up... how can i choose which programs to start up?

    also if you could include a list of programs the start up that dont need to that would be nice

    Only your AntiVirus program has to be in the startups. All others can be disabled. Press Start > type msconfig > hit Enter > go to the Startup button. There you can disable all that junk. And don't be afraid - nothing bad will happen.

    Here's an easy to use guide that will help you disable some of that stuff, have a look at the link below; just use Option One until you get it figured out.

    Here is a free program that may useful to you. It will tell you which programs you definitely can stop from loading, etc. Might be easier for you.

    Or if all else is hard or confusing, you can just get CCleaner and use that to disable what you don't want. It's free and works great, Google it if you wish to try it out.

    I agree with CCleaner it's easier than typing msconfig, just go into startup programs and delete all the ones you don't want

    another good program is winpatrol it allows you to pick what starts up also free. it has a paid version that tell you what the services that are running is for and it is not very expencive.

    also I would not use msconfig because you can cause a lot of problems with your operating systems with just
    one wrong click or crash it completly
