You can use qtips or soft brushes. I usually use a qtip and a microfiber towel. Work very well.
i use a BLUE microfiber cloth with WARM distilled water i ring the cloth out tightly and dont use no pressure on the screen just gently wipe in a circular motion and the screen comes up like new no smears, what you have to be careful about is not getting ANY water droplets (or any liquid) in the bottom or sides where the screen is fixed into the bezel , it will shorten out and "ping" no more screen!!!!.
I don't think that I would use Windex. Too much amonia in that product.
Hummm, maybe it is the brand?? Unknown, the bottle I have hear in the 70% type states 70% isopropyl alcohol, 25% water, and 5% other. Maybe that 5% other is what is causing the issues??? The 99% is 99% isopropyl alcohol 1% other. I know that 1% of it is poison so that people will not drink it as cheap drinking alcohol.
