Download Speed in Windows 7

    Yeah the actual speed will depend on the distace between you and the telco (I'm assuming DSL?). The further you are, the slower the speed. So even though you are /allowed/ to go up to (And they would cap you) at 2 Mbps, you would only get that if your telco's net router were say 200 feet from your house . As it is probably at least 1000 or more your actual max throughput will go down, that's normal.

    Not that I know of. I've been getting these kinds of download and upload speeds on both my dual core laptop and quad core desktop ever since I switched from DSL to Comcast Broadband...
