All of the boot repair commands including bootsect are automated in Win7 Startup Repair, along with many other tests including System File Checker, Disk Check, System restore if necessary, even writing a new System MBR to the partition marked Active.

Will XP overwrite my 7 bootloader if it's on a separate hard drive?
This might sound stupid, but if I dual boot with Windows 7 on a physically separate hard drive, as well as XP, will XP still override my Windows 7 bootloader since it tends to get jealous? :p

How do I find the time a program was installed? When I bring up the Uninstall window, I can see the date but not time; is there a way to find this out?
Finding new Hard Drive
Win 7 can't find my new drive. I dual boot Win 7 and Ubuntu. Both boot okay on my machine but I want to add a new drive to the two existing ones. Currently Win 7 is on a 320 G Seagate and Ubuntu is on a 500 G Seagate. The new drive is a 1 T WD. My bios recognizes all drives. Belarc Analyzer...
