I can't sort by File Types. What happened to File Details?

When I do a search on how to sort, I get a Tutorial that tells me to open the "View" Menu item.

However, as you can see from the attached, I don't have a VIEW menu on my Folder.

I would like to sort these by file type so that I can save them to a CD.

What am I doing wrong here?

I attached a word doc with two pics in it. I have no idea wht these [IMG] links are.
I hit the paperclip, added my file from my C: drive, hit Upload, and got this.

Essentially, I created a new folder, put in some music files, and wanted to sort them by file type, but I have no option for that. I can only sort by List, Details, Tiles and Content.

Under Windows XP, I COULD sort using View/Details.

    Hi Leefoo, Welcome.
At the moment your images are showing "dead links". please try again. This could be that maybe Admin has to OK your images. You are a "new" poster after all. If all else fails PM brink and ask him to add your images for you.

You can make the Menu bar always visible, see here:

Thanks to all for the help. Very fast results.
I eventually figured out how to turn the menu's on in all my Folders (only took about 2 hrs of trial and error). Can't believe the default was NOT to show them. Unless my installer (Dell) turned them off.
I can now sort by any detail I want.
    Thx again.

One last question...how do I turn off the auto refresh in a folder when I change a name? THAT I couldn't find anywhere.

    Brink,

That's exactly what I did (I think). Perhaps where I screwed up was to put the images into a doc and upload the doc?
