    Windows 7 font troubles

Guys, i have a bit of strange problem, but here it goes: I have problems with ceratin programs, that do not display correctly - the font size is at least 2-3 sizes bigger than the normal and as a result, the window composition is wrong - missing buttons, the layout exceeding the window border etc. etc. I tried returning to English on "Language for non-Unicode programs", but no effect. Also all versions of InstallShield are having this problem.

Down below are two screens to show what i mean, the second one have normal font, but you can see that the composition is altered (as all InstallShield installers). The first one shows how the program became useless when the layout streches.

Have you checked your DPI settings? Go to the Control Panel and click on "Display" and ensure it's set to smaller. If not, set it to smaller and either restart or log off (I can't remember off the top of my head if in Windows 7, you can just log off for this to take effect). Let us know what happens.

The problem have gone past DPI, it appears that there is a bug in W7, that changes the system fonts. I've found a solution here.
