System restore is set to automatic, unless shut off

    Go to search
    Type task scheduler
In scheduler in the left pane, expand all the way
Look for system restore and you can see how often the points are made automatically

If you want to make one extra
    Read this

Ok found it, it says "queued" "multiple triggers defined" next run time "9/2/10/12 am" last run time "8/30/10..." ..
So does it mean it automatically creates restore points, right?
    thanks alot

Yes on 9/2. But be warned, if it makes an automatic on on 9/2 and you make a manual on 9/5, it misses the next automatic date.

So better to leave it alone? Let itself create?

    Yes and no

If you are going to install something, make a SR point, in case you do not like it

    Same with uninstall.

Before you are going to make a change make a point. Sometimes the points are done automatically before a change, but I do not find that dependable.

Heh I think that in general is healthy advice to NEVER use a registry cleaner. I've never used one in 15 years of dealing with Windows. Even as an Windows software engineer I wouldn't use one or recommend it. They very frequently cause weird and tweakey problems which can be impossible to track down without doing somthing drastic such as (now) a system restore or in the old days a system reinstall to fix it.

I suspect you are using Roxio creator 2009/2010 and this is a feature of the software when you put a disc in the drive. you can even drag files to the disc shortcut for burning
