    My fonts turn to gibberish

Oh gosh, my fonts suddenly turn into gibberish while typing. Happens in outlook, word, typing on the internet -- anywhere. I have to shut down the pc and reboot. This is beyond frustrating. Anyone else have this problem - and how can I fix it?
    Thanks

Run a full anti virus scan

Download and run malwarebytes. Do the full scan and update before using. Scan should take about 90 minutes

    Still have the gibberish problem

I have noticed that if I leave the computer on and don't do anything for a while it will just start with the gibberish again.

I did run Maleware...3hrs long...and nothing! I have run every virus/spyware/etc... I have and they turn up nothing!

OK lets get more specific. Gibberish, what does that mean? Give me a screen shot. Is it a language that does not use American Letters?

If I want to type..."I have a problem with my computer." It may start looking like this: " h owon a oieiju hfhglsi ieur oerl" In other words, the letters change into meaningless jumbles of letters.

    Test with an another keyboard
Update the keyboard driver. Go to device manager and then keyboard and then driver. Go to company website not the automatic update.

I went eventually to the HP site and it said it does not have drivers for my HP Pavillion dv2000 because I run Windows 7.
