    i cannot right click on the desktop


    hey all i am a new user, the problem is tht i canot right click on the desktop, i can access the gadgets n awl and can click on them the desktop wallpaper is also showing the problem is tht the icons are white papers and i connot click on them cannot right click andeven cannot drag a box on the desk top, it goes away when i restart then after sumtime it comes again..plzz help win7 ultimate x64 i dnt wanna format

    i can right click on explorers and every thing else is fine

    Have you disabled your right-click somehow?

    From an elevated command prompt run sfc /scannow ...

    Do a system restore to an earlier state before this problem occurred.

    thee wuz this background service "skype names" which wuz causing this problem i restored and one by one closed all the services.....and found out well thanks for ure quick responses U GUYS ARE AWSOME CHEERS
