Could be conflict with av progs running at the same time, your also running utorrent which could have uploaded you a surprise. That's where i'd start checking

Install Avast 5 to run a Boot Scan after updating.

A Boot Scan leaves viruses with no place to hide besides memory.

Spybot run in Safe Mode can flush them from memory with a requested restart.

Besides these, I would run one of the bootable virus scans from here: FREE Bootable AntiVirus Rescue CDs Download List

If these fail, try System Restoring to your earliest Restore point to check if problems exist.

If you decide to clean reinstall, be sure to wipe your HD to overwrite infected code: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

    Run Avast Boot Scan.

Then run Spybot in Safe Mode, then Malwarebytes from desktop.

If you are not infected, then run sfc /scannow as Admin to check System File condition.

Check the Event Viewer>Admin view to google repeat errors to find how others have solved them. Check also Performance log at Advanced Tools accessed by clicking WEI score at Computer>Properties. Look for cued issues at top of Tools page, Generate A System Health Report.

If the probs still persist, run a Repair Install

I would run ComboFix from bleepingcomputer.com before I would wipe the OS. Yes, I know of the warnings about ComboFix, but I use it multiple times per week and I know it works.
