Windows 7: two simple problems ...

uninstalling bitdefender and installing MSE instead solved all the problems
the file in the external HD is gone now
and i don't get any messages before i shut down : )
but now after i installed MSE i cannot turn windows defender on
is that normal ?

That's perfectly normal.

Glad it worked - good example of how a lightweight free AV can make a difference.

In addition to MSE with WIndows Firewall, for extra protection use Malwarebytes on-demand scanner.

Run full scan monthly. I uploaded it here for you:
