What is interesting is that the command above pulls up the music folder on my external (the one that I want). Too bad I can't change whatever Run is launching to point it to the music library folder, rather than user/My Music

Well, I'm happy to hear that you were able to get the shortcut that you needed.

Oh I'm able to get the shortcut, just not how I want it. There seem to be several work arounds, but none that actually change the run commands that I was originally seeking. I guess the most important thing is gaining quick access to the folder.

You can further shorten that up:
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries\Music.library-ms

Its lookin for the first item that is named "music" which happens to be the directory "music" in your user directory. That all that it is, its not a pre-programmed command or anything. If it didn't find "music" in your user directory it would then go though the PATH looping over the paths until it found the first item named "music".

Ok, figured out what was going on. I had two folders called My Music in the C:\User\"username" folder. I deleted the one that is not being used, changed my "musiq" shortcut to "music" and now the run command for "music" opens the folder I want it to ;-) Thanks for educating me on how things work so that I could figure out a solution with assistance.
