Programs opening in Wordpad

When I attempt to open outlook, IE, or an exe file they open in wordpro, showing multiple lines of gibberish. It also happens with the startup programs, they open multiple images of wordpro. I'm able to get to the internet by right clicking on the IE icon and choosing one of the locations to go to. I attempeted to download anti- Malware programs, but they open in wordpro.

I'm using Windows 7, home edition 64 bit.

Thanks!

Mike

Thank you!
