"Show Desktop" tab

Greetings to all,

I keep on running into an annoyance, when I press the "Show Desktop" tab on the bottom right screen all windows minimize, correct. Alas, when I press on a single window which I want to come up, all windows that are minimized pop up. I don't wish it to be so, I only want that single window to pop up.

Any scripts by any chance or a setting that I might have missed?

I've searched but nothing was there which I wanted. Right now I just tried using the "Alt + Tab" shortcut, that solves my problem in a way by opening only one window I choose.

A "show desktop" shortcut that actually minimises all windows?
While I know that the "show desktop" button that is by default on the far right of the taskbar does the job pretty well, it unfortunately does not play nicely with multiple monitor programs/rainmeter. So I was wondering if it was possible to write a shortcut that does the same thing as manually...

Hi there, I have a weird and frustrating problem: In my desktop context menu, the option "Sort by" doesn't show up. I don't know why and did some Google searches but almost everything I found was related to explorer issues, not to desktop issues! I also read through "How to Change the Desktop...

"Show desktop icons" does not stay unchecked
Hello, Since I want a pretty minimal interface I don't want my desktop icons to show. However, whenever I uncheck "show desktop icons" they always return whenever I restart my computer or plug/unplug my power supply. Also, whenever I try to uncheck "show desktop icons" I usually have to do it...

How do I change clock color and remove the "Show Desktop" button?
Okay, so I recently moved to try and get a more simple look on one of my laptops. I have found that I like using the Soft7 2.0 theme with Token icons. But what I have noticed is that my clock no long matches. I'm wanting to know how do I change my clock color to something that matches and is a...

gadgets disappear when I click "show desktop"
Pretty sure in the past when I "show desktop" (button in lower right, or Windows+D) my gadgets would still be visible, but now they disappear just like the other open programs. Is there a way to get it back to they stay visible?
