Google got my vote. More like a habit really. Too comfortable with it and love it ever since.

Been using Google forever, and still prefer it, but I do use Bing every now and then.

I am the worlds worst typist!
I like the clean look of Bing, but I have found it doesn't seem quite as smart as Google. A small spelling mistake and it often cannot return any results, Google always has a good guess at what I meant to type.

The only feature on any other engine that will get me to leave the embrace of all of the world's knowledge in Google, is Fare Predict on Bing Travel - it never fails to tell me correctly whether to buy now or wait on buying a ticket.

Oh I remember them and they still come up in conversation in our household. I tell my girlfriend that if she doesn't treat me right, I am going over to Betty and Veronica's place. They are my "secret" girlfriends.

Yep, sadly I remember them also. But they were not quite the same didnt these systems predate WWW and search only a few databases? I guess there were only a few databases in those days.

But today, who would use only one search engine? I use Google as default, mostly out of habit, and because it finds what I thought I was asking rather than what I actually asked. But I have plenty more search choices on the context menu ready to roll, and more on a bookmarklets folder.

I love the rightclick Accelerators on IE8. Any text I come across I can highlight to quickly search, define, translate, map, etc. It gets me what I need without typing anything or even opening a new page myself.
