    svchost.exe

    Hello,

Im just curious about my svchost process. Its using 100MB of my RAM. Is it normal? I remember it wasnt so high, and now my Win 7 x64 is using in idle about 30% (before like 24%) with nothing open, only MSE (70MB of RAM)and some other apps under 5MB..

    Thanks for reply,
    Lord

Mine is 160MB. You could reduce the amount of memory by disabling automatic updates.

Your memory usage is fine. Don't worry about it.
RAM works better when it is used.

I wouldn't worry about it, Windows 7 uses ram very different compare to older operating systems. A difference of 6% is no big deal. If you want to see what your ram is doing go to Start and type in resmon hit enter. Go to the top of page and you will see memory.
