    Library Files Show 'Unresponsive'?

Anyone know why my library files are shown 'unresponsive'? They all work fine, but each and every one has this label?

    Many thx. :)

    Hi Rik,

That would be caused by having the Windows Search service stopped and disabled. Libraries require it's included folders to also be added to the index to be tracked properly even though they will still open properly.

You're welcome. If you do notice any problems with opening or searching in the libraries properly, then enabling that service for the index should clear it up.

I was wondering, I have the same issue, however my Windows Search service is definitely alive, enabled and running. I confirmed in services.msc and wsearch is working fine. anything else that might cause this??

edit: ok, I found the answer here
basically, a folder will show up as unresponsive if it is not included as part of the windows search index. so you have to go to control panel, indexing options, click Modify and basically make sure that every folder in your library is included in those locations.
