    New Test Updates / Language Packs


    Has anyone else noticed that Windows Update has new "Test Updates & Language Packs" or am i a bit slow on the uptake ?

    yeah they came out today. Im not sure if i want to install the language packs though, i only use english, but i want my pc to feel complete by having all updates instaled.

    I can't see any languagepacks? Just a new driver for my onboard netcard.
    Is this because I'm running 64bit?

    Try checking updates.
    I just did and they popped up for me.

    I Don't want to change display language though, the translations are not that great.
    Also I hate finnish, english is much better language, wish I could move to USA or something...

    Just got home and had the updates, tests and language packs , I am on my 7100x64
    have not looked at the x86 on my two other win 7's . I had to manually run them and restart. lm

    Yeah, I got it too on my x64 Build 7100.
    I don't like all those languagepacks installed on my system, but I don't like the "idea" of "30 optional updates"...

Before you ask, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. I want to install the Korean language pack, but no language packs appear in the 'optional updates' windows. I've installed Japanese before, so I know I can install languages. The languages are not hidden either cause I've checked. Halp?
