    msconfig program won't load

Hi! I am having problem with my HP Multimedia Keyboard, all the drivers are installed for Windows 7 (SP44446) kbd.exe is in starup in msconfig, but when I start windows, this process won't starts as before.

I uninstall and reinstall but the problem still there, and I need to start it manually.

    Any help will be appreciate

    Thank you,

    Hello and Welcome !

Try to add the item again. Just a shortcut of that EXE to startup folder. Make sure Internet security is not blocking it. Check this article Startup Programs - Change

It needs to be installed under an Administrator account, is the one you use an Administrator?

Capt.Jack & Ztruker, Thank you, I finally resolve this issue, I went to "Allow a Program through Windows Firewall" and added kbd.exe, and bingo. I am so happy, because I was almost ready to re-install windows 7 and thanks to help from this forum, no more problem with my HP Multimedia Keyboard.
