How to change the font (size) in WinExplorer?

Is there a way to change the font, font size and line height for the font in WinExplorer?

The font in other elements should not be changed (if possible).

    Hi pstein,

I note in System Specs you have XP listed as your OS.

Here are some links that may be of use to you -

    here Ya' Go

Here is what I use to change my font size in windows explorer, although it will also change your font size under your desktop icons.

I don't use desktop icons personally, letting my desktop stay totally clean acting as a picture viewer set at 10 m interval. So could be a potential problem for your likes.

You can try it at least.

    1. Snap Windows Explorer to either side of screen.

    2. Go to desktop, right click and open Personalize.

    3. Click on Windows Color at bottom.

    4. Click on Advanced Appearance Settings at bottom of list. (you can close out the larger page after the smaller options page pops up) Now you can have this options box and WE open side by side.

    5. Click on your top choice bar (usually shows desktop to start with) and choose "Icon".

Now you can choose your size and hit apply and you can see your changes instantly in Windows Explorer.

I also changed my font to "Alba" which I found somewhere. Alba is really easy on the eyes and cool looking.

    Hope this helps.
