    Re formating problem

hey, i recently got an asus g71x-rx05 laptop. it had windows vista when i got it, so i was trying to put windows 7 on it. after it was done installing, it wouldnt start up, there was just a big red error on the screen. i read around here and it says that its the recovery partition thats ****ing shit up, but theres no way for me to delete it now, because when i try to get back into the win7 installation it says that im missing a required driver. i cant even launch it normal now because it says the bootmgr is missing or something. any thoughts?

no i cant get into safe mode without the win7 disk in, then it just tries to install windows 7, which it cant bc the "required drivers are missing"

Did you try to restore factory settings? Usually continually tapping f11 during boot will give you the option.
If F11 does not work and you can find your computer manual, try to look it up.
or give me the model and manufacturer and maybe I can find the information.

    • Start your Netbook and press the F9 key on your keyboard until you see a loading screen.
    • The restoration program prepares the files needed for the operation.
    • A message appears asking if you want to perform the operation, you will lose all files on your machine.
    • Confirm by clicking √.
    • The restore process is done automatically , without any human intervention.
    • At the end of the restoration, the machine will reboot on its own, and make configurations.
    • A restart is performed again, and you're on the setup process of Windows , same as the first boot after buying the Netbook.
You will lose all your stuff if this works. Want to back up first? Need help to back up?

when i press f9 it either reboots the computer or goes into the windows boot manager and asks what operating system to start. the only opion in windows setup. and when i press that it just goes back to the win7 installer
