    help me please...acer aspire 4736Z problem

    Did anybody face the problem as similar to me as follows;

    1. while formatting your hard drive ( local disk C) consisting window xp sp2 and installing new windows 7 or vista, producing noisy sound something like "peou, peou, peou".

    2. after completion of formating and new installation of window 7, found that the recycle bin is already highlited and while pointing your mouse to "my computer" and double clicked to open my computer, instead of opening "my computer" it open recycle bin.
    3. in continuation to this problem, in the words. after typing one sentence and while attempting to edit the spelling keeping your cursor in the middle of the sentence, it directly jumped to the end of the sentence even if touchpad made disable...

    so if anybody has face similar to my problem.. and got solution, please do inform me..
    you might be think that it is problem cause by virus, but it is not because the problem give after installation of new windows even if pendrive or any removable disk is not inserted.

    thank you in advance

    Run Disk Check , then your maker's HD diagnostics/repair full CD scan: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities

    Try wiping your HD to reinstall. You may have infected or bad code which needs overwriting: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

    Make sure you have the latest BIOS version update, clear the CMOS: Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS

    Use the drivers given by installer unless performance reasons require you to import another one from computer or device's Support Downloads webpage, where you will also find any drivers missing in Device Manager. You may need to try another chipset from computer Downloads webpage. It sounds like you may also need the touchpad software.

    Study errors in Event Viewer>Admin View, google text and ID# to see how others have resolved them.

    Install programs slowly over time to gauge performance changes, don't let any write themselves into msconfig>Startup as they become freeloaders on startup/CPU/RAM and can spy on you. Troubleshooting with MSCONFIG

    Clean and order the HD perfectly with CCleaner and Auslogics Disk and Registry defraggers.

    Did it make the noise during the formatting? If so, your drive may be going bad.

    I think it may be better to buy a new HDD, maybe with more space too.:)

    A drive that is making a mechanical noise is a bad sign, usually indicating a dying drive... I would backup any data that you need to save and replace the drive as soon as possible... New drives are dirt cheap, and will save you a lot of heartache in the future..

    I think you should get a new drive quickly, before the current one dies.
