How to capture bookmarks to thumbdrive?

I've got a Dell laptop that has to be returned for a refund and I was wondering how to transfer my bookmarks over to a thumbdrive? I want to have them ready so I can put them on my new laptop when I decide what I'm getting.

    Hello Stephen,

Bookmarks or Favorites used in Internet Explorer are located in your C:\Users\(user-name)\Favorites folder. You could copy this folder to your thumbdrive as a backup, then just copy the contents back to restore them.

Another option, is to use the Export/Import feature in Internet Explorer.

    Hope this helps,

    On firefox:

(X64): cntl-Shift-B -> Import and backup (on tool bar/top) -> Export HTML -> copy file to thumb drive.

(x86): Bookmarks -> Import and Export -> Export HTML -> copy file to thumb drive.

    On IE:
    As Brink told you
