    cleartype completely off

    Hi there
there has been numerous threads about turning off clear type but its still bugs me (and burns my eyes!)

    While using:
    - default aero skin
    - custom skins made by MS

despite turning smoothing of fonts in System Properties -> Advanced -> Performance/settings and Disabling it in ClearType tuner (the box is unticked) the context menus menus / places bar (crumbsbar?) / taskbar still uses cleartype :/

After installations of Win7 I've made some custom skin (modified default aero with custom background and changed a big shade of windows with sliders from control panel) and this skin obey my settings - everything is sharp without this stupid glow.

Anyone has any idea what I can still change to get rid of ClearType?! /me begs

I know that, the point of the link was to show you that to turn off, you uncheck the box. In the event another method was used.

As I stated in my initial posting, I already turned OFF cleartype in CT-Tuner (mentioned in the link) and in the Advanced system properties.
I'm looking for yet another way to turn it OFF because those two doesn't work
