    How to make Explorer always show 'more details' while moving files?


    How to force Explorer to always show 'more details' while copying/moving files?

    Can you be a bit more explicit? Where do you want these details to show up? Normally you just set Windows Explorer to shows Details via View / Details then click on Tools / Folder Options / View Tab and Apply to all Folders then Apply and OK.

    I think the OP means the actual file copy dialog that has a little triangle to show 'more details', so you can see file transfer speed and other information. I have wondered the same question too.

    Teracopy seems interesting but unfortunately:
    - u have to pay for it,
    - u still have to click 'more' for more details, so what's the difference...

    What about Windows Explorer - no hack here?
