    Where did my window go?

I've had 7 on my computer for about two weeks now and I like it a lot, but I'm noticing one problem that continues to occur and is really hindering.

If I am on the internet and I minimize my window, about once every ten or so times, it disappears. I have Firefox pinned to my taskbar and typically when I have a Firefox window open, it is highlighted but again, at times, when I minimize a window, it becomes solid again as if it's not open. Normally I would assume it had closed completely but if I am watching a video or listening to music, it continues to play and I've discovered that it is still open, but I can't access it. What am I doing incorrectly?

most members have a system spec notice on bottom left of screen click to see what they show... gives you a good example.

    I had that happen recently.

I had 3 or 4 Firefox windows open (also, it is pinned to my Taskbar). I visited a page that opened a video. While it was initializing the video, I clicked to minimize that screen, and that particular FF window disappeared from the Taskbar.

The only way I found to get it back was to close all other windows and programs (including the other FF windows). Once I did that, the FF window reappeared in the Taskbar.

I've done this as well and it still didn't show up. I might be just a little FF/7 compatibility glitch, but I have no idea. In order to get my window to reappear, I initiate shut down procedure and cancel when it tells me I still have a window open. It will then reappear.

You cant use Ctrl Shift Esc to kill firefox.exe, then just start a new browsing session or resume the current one?

    sounds to me like
    1. you might have used up all memory, or
    2. Your netturn is still set a default. so to limit your connections.
    3. 3 or 4 open connections is rather small, currently I'm testing some tweaks, using 2 browsers at the same time, total open currently is 9 with browsers plus EMail and Mirc. I have not been testing FF, but IE8 and Opera 9.64.
