Open each folder in the same window not Worked!!!

    hi

Every folder i click on opens in a new explorer window.

    Code:
Folder Options> General (tab)> Browse folders
click Restore Defaults, and select this:
(*) Open each folder in the same window

(Set Tasks and Click options you like also.)

    Click Apply.

Folder Options> View (tab)> Advanced settings
Click Restore Defaults, and this should be UN-checked:
[ ] Launch folder windows in a separate process
(Modify other options as you like also.)

click OK - That should do it.
    not worked

    please help me

Hello Honestvip, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You might see if doing it manually in the registry using METHOD THREE in the tutorial below may work for you instead.

Open each Folder in the Same or Own Separate New Window

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Has it always been like this?

If not, then you may be able to do a system restore using a restore point dated when it did work properly.

Ok. Where did you get your copy of Windows 7?

Is it a modified Windows 7?

It almost sounds like the installation got corrupted in some way. Perhaps sfc /scannow or a repair install (assuming a good install disk is available)?

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Repair Install
