    Something to reiterate here...

Hopefully this isn't a posting violation, but please note, there is a sticky on this forum here:

    https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...ease-read.html

Along with those rules, when asking for help from people it would be helpful to note rule #9... Any discussion with regards to software piracy or asking for assistance on a non-legit copy of Windows 7 will not be supported.

There is currently only the following as legit versions of Windows 7:

    Windows 7 Starter
    Windows 7 Home Basic
    Windows 7 Home Premium
    Windows 7 Professional
    Windows 7 Enterprise
    Windows 7 Ultimate

If it isn't one of these, then it is not a legitimate Windows 7 Version.

Please also note that members here can help you with your problem, but we also ask you to give us your system information, such as if your Windows 7 is x32 or x64... Hardware configuration and what not. Members can't help you with just knowing you are on Windows 7, because many things can come into play, such as hardware, knowing the brand of the various parts of the hardware, or in some cases, knowing what you did before hand.

Barman fixed it for me. Just noticed lately, some people still not reading the forum sticky rules and the several requests to get people to give us more information about their system before we could help them.

Edit - One thing to note this isn't harping posting the wrong forum, but seeing a few posts asking for help on non-legit Win 7 installs and having to pull teeth on system configs.
