I use SFKilla's gadgets, net meter, drive, and multimeter. But in Vista, if I download IE8, it corrupts them. They don't like IE8 beta2 or RC1. They don't display properly. Tried it on two different installs.

Also forgot to say Happy New Year

Btw, I thought that the Start Orb was suppose to glow when you move the mouse over it. Is it just a bug this build or have they dropped this appearance?

Not a major thing, just would like to know :)

On my 7000 build, the start button glows when moused over. What build do you have?

Wow, amazing it glows and today, first day of the new year, I also get a tool-tip message wishing a happy new year from Windows 7 Team.

Please take time to read the small print when you are signing or committing to anything, it can be but it is not always 100% to your advantage. In this particular case it would have been to you advantage as you would have found out that my remark above about the new year tool-tip message was just a joke! I like to start early with the practical jokes. Happy New Years to all W7F members.

Does the Orb pulsate? Like it glows brighter then darkens then brightens again, or is it just a simple static image change. I just get the normal static "halo" image.

I thought I saw a vid a while back where it pulsates, but after looking at some videos on youtube it looks like its just a static halo around the orb oops

Just discovered the aero shake feature now as well NICE!

i believe that would be the older builds as i know 6801 had a different style than from 7000

Hello SnaoCount, welcome to Se7en Forums!

Have a look through the tutorials section here at the forums; as Brink does an excellent job (not to leave out the others) with them.

Bandito, I see that you have installed the Cisco VPN. Exactly what version are you using? I have tried installing 5.02, 5.03, 5.04 and get blue screens each time I reboot after the installs. I have tried the DNEupdate as well, all in Vista compatibility mode. My only option is to use the Last Known Good to get back to Windows. If you have any thoughts, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    David

Hello dblizz98, welcome to Se7en Forums!

You would get way better results if you post a new thread in the appropeiate sub-section.
