So unless I read this wrong, there's no major differences from build 7127? Same look and feel (diamond theme?), nothing broken that used to work. Maybe some bugs that we weren't aware of that may be fixed.

I used it on a virtual machine with 2gb of ram and 2 processors and it seems snappier and more responsive then 7100 for me, but then again we all differ. I will definitely think about giving this a go on my main OS/computer.

I'm still on 7077 which has been rock friggin' solid. Guess it's time to move forward to 64 bit 7201. (crosses fingers and formats hard drive)

It seems quicker to me, but when I put Visual Studio and all the SDK's back on (which fills my small partition up) I shall have a better idea. The 'Restore previous folders..' is still broken but it don't hang with the setting enabled anymore.

Spybot - Search & Destroy says Its clean btw.

Is that Visual Studio 2008? Does it work fine on Windows 7? I'm hoping to use that on Windows 7, and install the massive SP1 for it as well. I'm also going to load on SQL Server 2008 too. When I get Windows 7 downloaded, I'll be scanning every single file with ESET NOD32 x64.

I have Eset installed on my computer and it did not say anything about the x64 version i have now. Visual Studio 2008 does work with Windows 7, as i used it a few weeks back. Now i didn't use it for a long time, but it worked for what i needed it to. Just remember, if it worked for Vista, it will probably work in 7, or atleast in compatability mode for the time being.
