    Is It worth upgrading?
Im Sick of doing fresh installs, and reinstalling my programs
Your specs say you're on the RC and if it's not broke dont fix it.
There isn't a whole lot new and if you have all your programs and most importantly all your drivers i say stick with what you got

Totally up to you....I just finished doing an upgrade from 7137 to 7201....about 1 hr 30 minutes in total.
Start time is a bit better from press of the button to password prompt is now 47 seconds vs 62 for 7137. Shutdown is the same....22 seconds.

It's very much worth installing. You will notice a real difference.
Problem is that already there is talk of another leak on the 19th of this month.
    This way madness lies.
I've done 5 fresh installs and 2 upgrades in as many weeks.
I've quite gotten into it but I can't remember what I use to use my computer for.

If I were you I'd install it immediately but I'm not in full control of myself so hey!

    Cheers, john
    Totally agree with you.:)

So far I am pretty impressed....it certainly feels quicker....even down to the opening of Web pages...refreshes etc.
It doesn't come down to a "new install" either as it was an upgrade.

I have installed 8 different Windows 7 versions in both the x86 and the x64 platforms on 5 different computers from the netbook - laptops and Desktops from old to new (P4 to C2Q) but I do know what I use them for, TESTING only .

I have found many bugs and instability issues from mainly the upgrade process, but some from the fresh install as well. And more than 90% of the problems that I have debugged have been related to "VISTA_DRIVER_ID's".

I really hope that MS will fix the driver issues and stability problems before the final RTM release, Otherwise I will not buy my copies till they are stable.
My work requires a very stable OS (my Workhorse is Win XP x64) on my Big Box.
Otherwise, I will stick to Win XP.

    sincerely
