These things are mysteries, I love being wireless but when you start to have the intermittent keystroke drops or odd random cursor movements and phantom actions it just gets to be troubling. Wireless has so much interference it has to deal with in my opinion it just has to do with what and where you have things in you space. I've had numerous problems and can't count all the times I've called on various wireless sets for connection issues and the phantom issues. Man if there is a work around I've heard it, I am the Logitech expert but in the end if the problem continues and you've tried everything it's just time to move on. I'm now half wired and half wireless and it's working well but if my mouse starts to act up again it's wired time and the mouse is going to learn to fly baby !

Glad your happy. To some computer problems there is no one solution. You just have to try several and normally you will get it fixed. I have had some Logitech products work and some that didn't. Some wireless mice of the same brand and number will work on different surfaces better, but I don't know why.

I've also found that having even a cheap wired keyboard and mouse around as a back up for emergencies is very very handy.....highly suggest this for connection issues when your trying to get into the bios/safe mode and the like !

I have been there. Wireless keyboard doesn't load drivers in time to get into f8. I have to use a wired keyboard to do it in that fashion.

Frustrating but to finally realize you have a wired option saves the day !
