    Program extentions


    We have Windows 7 on one of our office computers. However, I cannot figure out how to get the computer to automatically choose the appropriate program to open files. Every time we get a file in with a new extention, we have to browse and look for the program.....please help!

    Are your office computers networked?

    Do you have a System Administrator or equivalent thereof at your company?

    Would you give us an example or two of programs that have unrecognized extensions?

Hello Before doing a clean install from vista to windows 7 I saved all the emails from an email program I was using at the time called "essentialpim" to an external HD. Now I have also installed office professional and I am using outlook. The problem is , how on earth do I import my emails...
