wow, even the windows 7 repair disc didn't do anything. i ran this and it didn't help. it tried to repair the system but failed and the result was that the "integrity check and repair" failed, citing "unspecified changes to system configuration might have caused the problem"
where do i go from here? don't tell me i need to put down $120 on a Windows 7 disc. my laptop is 3 months old and very expensive... all i want to do is reformat this nonsense and start anew. my laptop is possessed
Before you format, can u try running these two files (just in case if one doesn't work)..?

I have the same problem, I've tried system recovery and recovery from my discs twice now.. I've had this laptop for less then 2 months and I'm on my end of my rope with this one.. Plus, my warranty is Awful and the costumer service is worse.. and I've had it 'fixed' by a guy once already.. I've tried running these exe helpers that you've left.. but I really don't think their doing anything...
If you don't have the windows recovery disks that you were prompted to create when you first received your computer, you might want to check with the manufacturer and see if you can't buy or talk them into giving them to you. Otherwise your probably out of luck without a paddle.

No, I tired running both of them and opening a few programs.. they wouldn't even run unless I was in safe mode... and even still they just kind of sat there with a blinking white line.. I'm not sure if that's what there suppose to do or not, I've never had to use such a thing before....
