Logitech shows no drivers at all for this product. Odd but could it be a non approved W7 device? You are plugging this into a primary port in the back correct?

But I thought you tried a different mouse already so if the different one gave the same results surely this would eliminate the mouse being the problem. What was the make of the other mouse and did Win7 find a driver for it OK?
And optima666 we still haven't got your full system specs. Go to the Thread at the top of this Forum and please read the "Read before you post thread" especially the following posts about system specifications. It is important. Did you upgrade to Windows 7 or did your PC come with 7 pre-installed?
