Mouse Hover Time - Change
I used the above tutorial to change the Mouse Hover Time in Windows 7.
I changed it to 10000 ms via regedit, and restarted explorer.
Soon after, it reverts to the normal Hover Time. It seems to revert randomly.
In regedit, the value is still the same.
Why isn't it staying?
Go to device manager and check to make sure mouse driver is up to date and that there are no yellow warning markers in device manager
Try another mouse
My drivers are up to date, and there are no yellow markers.
Tried a different mouse - no effect.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
If it does not work, try in safe mode and report results.
